Veggie Rice Balls

  • Cooked rice
  • Carrot, chopped
  • Broccoli, chopped
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Cake flour
  1. 1Combine cooked rice with chopped carrot, broccoli and cake flour.
  2. 2Mix in the egg yolk to make a sticky mixture.
  3. 3With clean (gloved) hands, roll into small balls.
  4. 4Pan-fry or cook the balls until golden and set.

Roll small balls for easy little-hand grips.

Always follow your paediatrician's guidance on allergens and choking-hazard textures. Cook eggs, fish and meat thoroughly and serve food just warm.
