Silken Tofu with Steamed Pumpkin

  • ½ block soft silken tofu
  • A wedge of pumpkin, cubed
  1. 1Steam the pumpkin 10–12 min until very soft.
  2. 2Warm the silken tofu briefly (steam or blanch).
  3. 3Mash the pumpkin and tofu together until smooth and soft.
  4. 4Serve warm — a gentle, iron- and protein-friendly local staple.
