Cantonese Steamed Fish

INGREDIENTS
- A white fish fillet (e.g. snapper, grouper or cod)
- Ginger, julienned
- Spring onion, julienned
- 2 tbsp oil, heated
- Sauce: 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp water, ½ tsp sugar, drizzle of sesame oil, dash of white pepper
HOW TO COOK
- 1Place the fish in a steamer over boiling water and steam for 7–8 minutes.
- 2Drain off the liquid that collects, then top with the julienned ginger and spring onion.
- 3Pour the hot oil over the fish to lightly cook the aromatics.
- 4Pour over the sauce, flake the fish carefully checking for bones, and serve.
TIP
Always double-check for small bones before serving to baby.
