Baby Pumpkin Layered Cakes

  • Pumpkin, sliced
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Milk
  1. 1Steam the pumpkin slices until very soft.
  2. 2Whisk egg yolks with milk into a smooth custard.
  3. 3Layer pumpkin slices in a bowl.
  4. 4Strain the custard over the pumpkin layers.
  5. 5Steam until just set, then slice.

Strain the custard for an extra-smooth, silky texture.
